Nice title, real catchy.

So I’ve been playing some Mass Effect. I bought it back in January along with Too Human, and to be honest, I never got into it. I tried it for about 15 minutes, got to the first environment, had to go out, and then never got back to it. On Sunday I put the disc in and started over from the beginning, playing as the default “John Shepard” character, playing as a soldier. I would have customized, but I just wanted to have a quick play of the game. If I’d known how much I’d like it, I would have spent more time making a character…

It’s a neat game! There is definitely some technical problems with the game (mostly the really unstable frame-rate, constant stutters and loading screens, sometimes for as far as I can see no reason), and some of the moments haven’t been the most exciting, but the story is great, the graphics are suprisingly good, and it’s kept me playing for 6 hours now. So far I’d recommend it to anyone, and although the story gets a little heavy handed sometimes, and some of the tasks are a bit bland (quick time events and hitting ‘A’ on things isn’t exactly exciting), it’s still a stunning action RPG that I’m really keen on finishing.

Other than that, I am REALLY excited about this weekend, because I’ll finally be getting my hands on Ghostbusters: The Video Game as well as the new Dream Theater album, so this should be an awesome weekend! Huzzah!
